It is with great sadness that I have to post this. Alan passed away in the early hours of Wednesday 11 March 2026. To say he was a regular at Jaguar Breakfast Club meets is an understatement. He epitomised the very heart and soul of what the JBC is all about. Remembered for his love of Jaguar, especially his AC07 SOV XJ Sovereign. Alan certainly had plenty to say. Anyone who caught his eye at the NEC Classic Motor Show over the years will testify to that.

Many will remember Alan for lurking around and helping out at the Club Gazebo over the years. I remember him from when he first came to one of my JaguarForum.com weekenders – Jaguars at the Cotswolds in 2023. A cheeky chappy, we just clicked instantly. Our condolences to Terry and his family. A huge loss to the Jaguar community and to everyone who knew him.

Alan’s last JBC meet was only 9 days ago – at Silverstone.

Personally, he was a great support when I took over the reigns of the JBC. We had a laugh and a joke, but he always had a wise word and I knew I could rely on his support. I will miss him.

Thank you, Alan. Rest in peace.
