Join us at Glasgow’s award-winning transport and technology museum – Riverside Museum. It is the first purpose-built museum created by Glasgow Life in the 21st century. Located at the junction of the Rivers Kelvin and Clyde, it houses the city’s fabulous transport and technology collections, which have been gathered over the centuries and reflect the important part Glasgow has played in the world through its contributions to heavy industries like shipbuilding, train manufacturing and engineering.

One of the highlights of the museum is the recreated street scene, which provides a glimpse into Glasgow’s past. Visitors can stroll along a cobbled street lined with shops, houses, and even a subway station, all authentically recreated to transport visitors back in time.

Riverside Museum also features interactive displays, and hands-on activities, making it an engaging experience for visitors of all ages. It offers a unique opportunity to learn about Glasgow’s industrial heritage, the people who shaped the city, and the transportation innovations that have shaped the world.

There is no charge to join us at the Riverside. Museum entry is free of charge. There is a small fee if you wish to step on-board the Tall Ship.
