Brooklands Museum

Brooklands Museum – 5 July 2025

Over 130 Jaguars and Daimlers turned out for our first visit to Brooklands Museum with most of them joining the “Final Mile to Brooklands” convoy which had formed up at the pre-arranged meeting point of a nearby supermarket car park 🙂

Arriving at Brooklands, our car park for the day was the finish straight of the historic 1907 racing circuit – the world’s first purpose-built motorsport track, famous for its banking. It was an incredible sight to see row after row of Jaguars climbing up the finish straight with most still parked well into the afternoon. Brooklands really does have a huge amount of aviation and motorsport history on display and you can and should spend the entire day there.

Another attraction for many was the neighboring Mercedes Benz World. Not just a showroom, but a glimpse into the history of this iconic German brand and a chance for some to take to enjoy a driving experience, as a driver or simply a passenger. The “exploded” F1 car is worth a visit on its own!
